Conferences

The single, most exciting element to a USPCA Membership is the opportunity to attend regional and national conferences. This gives Personal Chefs from all areas a chance to share experiences face-to-face, further their education and hear from industry experts.

What Awaits At Conference

  • Nationally Recognized Speakers
Listen to famous speakers such as the Food Network's Alton Brown who was our special guest during the 2003 national conference in Kansas City, MO.

  • Continuing Education
Immerse yourself in continuing education seminars, workshops and opportunities to enhance your skills in areas from business and marketing to cooking techniques and unique menu creations.

  • ServSafe and CPC Exams
Nationally recognized ServSafe training and testing is available. And for Personal Chef’s working towards certification, the written CPC exam is administered during the conference.

  • Network with Other Personal Chefs
Exchange ideas, share stories and learn from your peers in a fun, exciting atmosphere. Be it a morning breakfast, the conference luncheon or after hours when the entertainment kicks into high gear, nothing replaces the experience of in-person communication with hundreds of other Personal Chefs who all have a common quest.

  • Experience New Products
National vendors are on hand to show the latest and greatest gadgets and answer your questions. Often times special conference pricing is available where you can pocket substantial discounts. USPCA uses the national conference spotlight to unveil new products and services as well, to include items like a new recipe book, a new version of MenuMagic or a new line of packaging containers.

When and Where

USPCA hosts one national conference every odd numbered year and multiple regional conferences during even numbered years. National conferences allow for hundreds of Personal Chef’s to congregate at one location plus experience a full assortment of continuing education opportunities.
